HACK WIFI PASSWORD USING WIFI PHISHER IN (5min) KALI LINUX

As you all are tired of hacking wifi using dictionary attack or brute forcing the password, this will be the best option for you . Before starting this tutorial, i am telling you that i am not sure that this tool wifiphisher gonna work for you. Sometimes it works as required but sometimes it not. If you wanna do this manually and want that your hack must be done. You should read my tutorial on hacking the wifi password using Fake AP or Rogue Access Point. 

How to Hack wifi Password Using Wifiphisher

STEP 1

Downloading the Script from github.

First, for starting the attack. Download the Wifiphisher tool from github or clone it using the git clone command in your terminal. You can download the wifiphisher tool from this github link. You can find both tar and zip file of the code from here. NOTE: This tutorial is based on v 1.1. So download the v1.1 file

STEP 2

Extracting the file and navigate to that directory.

Extract the tar file with tar command and then look for a new directory wifiphisher-1.1 under the root directory using ls command.The file was downloaded to the root directory. Navigate to the folder wifiphisher and look what's located in that folder using ls command.

tar -xvzf /root/wifiphisher-1.1.tar.gz
cd wifiphisher-1.1

Now again type ls command to look for the files under wifiphisher-1.1 directory

ls -l

STEP 3

Starting WifiPhisher

Start the Wifiphisher Python Script so that we can start our attack and steal the wifi password. Start the script with Python command in terminal.

python wifiphisher.py

It will ask you to install a package name hostapd on your computer if it is not already installed on your computer. It will start services like putting the card in monitor mode. Setting DHCP server and scanning available target etc. As i told you earlier only use the card that support's Packet Injection or AP Mode.

STEP 4

Selecting the Target and Exploiting the AP

After the package has installed, you will see a list of available AP's in your area.

Press CTRL-C and type the number of AP you want to hack at the bottom line and press Enter. After that the attack will launch in a few moments. Now, you just need to wait for the victim to enter his/her password on the Phishing Page.

STEP 5

GET the password

Now Let's travel along the Victim's side and see what is happening on this side. Let suppose the victim is using facebook or google or something like this on web. Then, in the meantime he/she will be deauthenticated and re-authenticate to the Fake AP. Now, whenever he tries to open something like any website. He will be redirected to our Malicious Page. The page saying that he router need firmware upgrade.

As soon as he enter his password into fake page. We will receive the password in terminal with the form: 10.0.0.1 - password. Look for your terminal and see what's the change and you will observe that you get the password.
